Doula Services

As birth doula, I am a non-medical assistant to women during pregnancy, labor and after birth. I will stay by your side during active labor until you are settled with your new baby to give emotional support, encouragement and practical knowledge.

I am not a nurse or midwife, so I will not perform tasks such as examinations or other medical procedures. I am at your side to provide comfort by suggesting positions, massage and additional techniques. I can give information and options that may be available as labor progresses. I help the father support the mother as she labors.

I have experience with preterm labor, twins, cesareans, VBAC, PTSD, teen mamas, curvy mamas, mamas over 40, and single mamas. Every family has a unique story and deserves customized support. As your doula, I am your advocate, coach, and partner during the miracle of childbirth.

Studies have shown that having a doula for support during labor:

Decreases the overall cesarean rate by 50%
Shortens the length of labor by 25%
Decreases the use of oxytocin (Pitocin) by 40%
Decreases the request for an epidural by 60%

50% deposit due at booking, payable by cash, check, or Venmo. Payment plans available. Add-ons such as additional postpartum visits, baby registry assistance, baby shower planning, and baby gear assembly are available.
